Ayurvedic wellness consulting

Your constitution isn't generic. Your care plan shouldn't be either.

MindfulCarrot offers one-on-one Ayurvedic consultations that read your unique balance of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, then build a plan around it — diet, daily rhythm, and herbal support included.

Vata Kapha Pitta

Every person carries all three — consultation finds your current balance

An older way of reading a body

Ayurveda is a five-thousand-year-old system from India that treats health as a matter of balance rather than absence of disease. It reads the body through five elements — space, air, fire, water, earth — expressed in a person as three functional patterns, the doshas.

A consultation at MindfulCarrot starts with understanding which pattern is driving your current state: how you digest, sleep, handle stress, and recover. From there, we build a plan using food, daily routine, and herbal support that's suited to you, not a generic wellness template.

This is a complement to conventional medicine, not a replacement for it. We work alongside your existing care, and we'll always tell you when something is outside our scope.

The three doshas

Everyone has all three in some proportion. Most people run high in one or two — and that mix shapes what kind of care actually helps.

Vata

Space & Air

Governs movement — thought, circulation, the nervous system. In excess: irregular digestion, racing thoughts, restless sleep, cold hands and feet.

Pitta

Fire & Water

Governs transformation — digestion, metabolism, focus. In excess: acidity, irritability, inflammation, a tendency to overheat and overwork.

Kapha

Earth & Water

Governs structure — stability, immunity, tissue. In excess: sluggish digestion, weight gain, congestion, a low mood that's slow to lift.

Ways to work together

Every plan starts with a full constitutional assessment. From there, choose the level of ongoing support that fits.

Initial assessment

A 90-minute intake covering pulse and tongue reading, digestion, sleep, stress, and history. You leave with your dosha profile and a first set of adjustments.

$225 · once

Personalized protocol

A written plan built from your assessment: daily rhythm (dinacharya), food guidelines for your dosha, and any herbal recommendations.

Included

Follow-up session

A 45-minute check-in to adjust your protocol as your body responds. Most clients book these every three to four weeks.

$145

Seasonal reset (Ritucharya)

A shorter recalibration at the change of season, when doshas naturally shift. Includes updated food and routine guidance for the months ahead.

$95

Private yoga session

A one-on-one practice built around your dosha, not a generic sequence — calming and grounding for Vata, cooling for Pitta, invigorating for Kapha.

From recent clients

I'd tried a dozen generic diet plans before this. Having someone explain why my particular digestion needed a different approach made all the difference.

— R. Okafor, client since 2024

The seasonal check-ins keep me from sliding back into old patterns every winter. It's the first plan I've actually stuck with.

— J. Lindqvist, client since 2023

Marci was upfront about what Ayurveda could and couldn't do for my condition, and coordinated with my doctor instead of working around her.

— S. Patel, client since 2025
